Day Training

A four-week program for busy owners, designed to make daily life feel easier for both you and your dog

Day Training is for committed dog caregivers who want meaningful progress without having to manage every step themselves. If you want calmer routines, easier outings, and the freedom to include your dog in more of your life, this program provides substantial, hands-on support in your own home.

I work directly with your dog multiple times each week, teaching practical skills in the environments where you and your dog spend time together. Because training happens in real contexts, the results are functional and easier to maintain long term.

Every other week, we meet together for transfer sessions so you feel confident using the skills in daily life. You will understand what your dog has learned, how to support it, and how to continue building on that progress.

This approach keeps training low-pressure for your dog, low-stress for you, and focused on real-world outcomes that make living together smoother, calmer, and more enjoyable.

Day Training is ideal for busy people who want meaningful progress without doing all of the training themselves.

Day Training Is a Great Fit If You Want

  • Meaningful training support when life is busy

  • A clear, structured plan without having to coordinate every detail

  • Skills your dog practices in real environments, not just during weekly lessons

  • More confidence using training in everyday situations

  • Help building strong foundations that improve life with your dog

  • Significant progress without sending your dog away

What We Work On

Training is tailored to your dog, your household, and the life you want to share together. The focus is not on teaching isolated commands, but on building the skills that allow your dog to participate comfortably in everyday life.

Common focus areas include:

  • Strong attention and engagement with you, even in distracting environments

  • Easy, comfortable leash walking that makes outings feel manageable and enjoyable

  • Reliable settling skills for downtime at home, public spaces, and travel

  • Confidence and coping skills for navigating new places, people, and everyday distractions

  • Practical routines that reduce friction and create smoother daily interactions

The goal is not perfection or rigid obedience. It is a dog who can move through the world with you calmly and successfully, so you can enjoy more of life together.

What You Receive

Your Day Training program includes:

  • Initial consultation (60–90 minutes) to understand your goals, routines, and your dog’s needs

  • 8 trainer–dog sessions over four weeks

  • 2 transfer sessions (every other week) so you know how to use the skills in daily life

  • Detailed photo and video updates so you can see what your dog is learning and how progress is unfolding

  • Follow-up Zoom or phone check-in two weeks after the program ends

  • A clear, practical plan to maintain and continue progress

You never have to guess what we are doing or how to continue at home. Everything is explained clearly and collaboratively so you feel confident moving forward.
