Day Training

Hands-on support for dogs who benefit from structured practice, clear guidance, and consistent routines.

A four-week program designed to make daily life feel easier for both you and your dog

I work directly with your dog multiple times each week, teaching practical life skills in familiar environments.

Every other week, we meet together for transfer sessions so you feel confident continuing the progress at home.

This approach keeps training low-pressure for your dog, low-stress for you, and focused on real-world skills that make daily life smoother and more enjoyable.

Who Day Training is For

This program is a great fit if you want:

  • Support with training when life is busy

  • A structured plan that helps your dog practice in real contexts

  • More confidence using training in your everyday routines

  • Help teaching foundational skills to improve family life

  • You want significant support without sending your dog away

What We Work On

Training sessions are tailored to your dog’s needs and your goals. Common focuses include:

  • Calm behavior in and around the home

  • Attention and engagement

  • Comfortable leash walking and movement skills

  • Settling and relaxation routines

  • Skills for navigating everyday real-world experiences

  • Building habits that support smoother interactions at home and on walks

What You Receive

Your Day Training program includes:

  • Initial consultation (60–90 minutes) to understand your goals, routines, and your dog’s needs

  • 8 trainer–dog sessions over four weeks

  • 2 transfer sessions (every other week) so you know how to use the skills in daily life

  • Simple photo/video updates so you can see what your dog is learning

  • A follow-up Zoom or phone check-in two weeks after the program ends

  • A clear, practical plan to continue maintaining progress

You never have to guess what we’re doing or how to continue at home. Everything is laid out clearly and collaboratively.

If your dog has more complex behavior concerns, Day Training may still be an option—but in some cases Private Coaching may be a better fit. I will help you decide during the consultation.

Program Structure & Pricing

The Day Training program runs for four consecutive weeks and includes:

  • Initial consultation: $150

  • 4-week Day Training program: included in total

  • Total cost: $1,100
(The $150 consultation fee is applied toward the total when you begin the program.)

Payment can be made in full upfront or split between the consultation and remaining balance.

Documentation from a veterinarian that your dog(s) is up to date on vaccinations is required before my arrival for the initial consultation.

Your Next Step

If you are interested in Day Training, the first step is clicking here (or clicking the “Learn With me” tab) and completing the short form telling me a bit more about your dog, and the services you are interested in. After receiving that form, I will email you within the next 48 hours to schedule a free, brief call so we can talk a bit about your situation before the initial, in-person, consultation, where we get to know each other, discuss your goals, and determine whether Day Training, Private Coaching, or Walk & Train will be the most supportive path.

Your dog deserves learning that feels safe, predictable, and empowering — and you deserve support that fits your life.
