Foundations for Fun at Home

Private, In-Home Dog Training Focused On Real-life Skills

Foundations for Fun at Home is a private dog training program for people who want to actively participate in their dog’s training, with professional coaching and a clear curriculum to guide the process.

This program focuses on building practical foundation skills that support everyday life with dogs, at home and beyond, while helping you understand how learning works so you can continue making progress long after our sessions end.

Foundations For Fun at Home Is a Good Fit If You:

   •   Want to be directly involved in training your dog

   •   Value learning why training strategies work, not just what to do

   •   Want training that fits into daily life, not just structured sessions

   •   Are able to practice between lessons

What We Work On

Foundations for Fun at Home follows a structured curriculum that focuses on skills such as:

   •   Attention and engagement

   •   Foundations for leash walking

   •   Coming when called

   •   Settle and relaxation skills

   •   Real-life application of training skills in daily routines

Pricing and Structure

   •   Five private sessions in your home or via Zoom for $600

   •   Sessions must be completed within seven weeks

   •   You do the hands-on training, with live coaching and feedback

   •   Sessions focus on observation, timing, reinforcement strategies, and setup

   •   Written handouts and summaries support your practice between sessions

This is a coaching-based program designed to build both dog skills and human understanding.

How This Differs From Day Training

In Foundations for Fun at Home, you are the primary trainer, with guidance and support from me.

If you are short on time, want faster progress with fewer at-home reps, or prefer someone else to do most of the training, Day Training may be a better fit.

This program is designed for people who want to build skills with their dog and feel confident continuing independently.
