If your dog’s behavior is making daily life feel stressful, whether that is barking, lunging, guarding, or something else, you are not alone. These challenges can feel overwhelming, and it can be hard to know what to do next.

This service can be helpful if you are navigating things like:

  • Big feelings or reactive responses around people, dogs, or different environments

  • Challenges with daily care routines like nail care or grooming

  • Sensitivity to handling or touch

  • Guarding food, toys or other items

    What to Expect:

  • We start with a detailed consultation to understand your dog, your environment, and your goals

  • You will receive a clear plan tailored to your situation

  • Ongoing support is available to help you apply the plan in real life.

During the consultation we will:

• review your dog’s history and current challenges

• observe behavior and triggers

• discuss management and safety strategies if needed

• begin creating a practical training plan tailored to your dog and household

After the consultation:

You will receive a detailed written follow up of my assessment including suggestions for next steps.

Costs:

Initial Consultation - $185

Approximately 90 minute in-home or virtual, including assessment and detailed written follow-up

Follow Up Sessions - $165

Approximately 60 minute follow up meetings including written follow-ups and support between sessions

Behavior Support Package (initial consultation and four follow-up sessions) - $795

If you choose to move forward with the package after your consultation, the consultation fee will be applied toward the total.

This package includes the initial consultation, four follow-up sessions, written training plans, and video review and support between sessions.

Payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment.

All dogs in the home must be up to date on core vaccinations prior to my arrival.

Services are offered within the city limits of Cape Girardeau, and Jackson Missouri, and occasionally in surrounding Southeast Missouri areas. Virtual consultations and training support are available for clients anywhere. For many cases, we may begin with a virtual consultation first for local clients to review history, discuss goals, and begin crafting a plan before meeting in person.
